Hello everybody..

I'm a Ulead VideoStudio 11 user, and I want to know if I can make a horizontal lens flare with it in my movies, which exist in some video clips or something and it looks like lens flare but still horizontally like this pic.

Even if I can make it in static picture please tell me :(
(Adobe(R) Photoshop CS2 user)

Thanks previously.

There is a Lens Flare Filter included with VS, which can be customized. It is not exactly a horizontal flare, but can be made to appear similar to one. You need to either apply it to your image, or use a black color matte (found in the Color Library).

If you use a black color matte, drop it in an overlay track, and apply the lens Flare filter to it. Resize the color matte down, so that it is narrow, but as wide as or slightly widder than your title. You might also apply the Cropping Filter to it, adjusting the crop so that it also is narrow but long. This would take away the rectangular look of the color matte. Apply the Chroma-Key to the color matte, using Black for the color.

It takes some experimenting but you can come up with something similar to what you're looking for.

If you can not, you might try looking at some other Title programs, like OuterSpace software's Bluff Titler. This is not freeware, but can produce some amazing 3D titles. I also have Ulead's Cool3D Production Studio, which is very powerful, however very, very slow when rendering. Another would be Xara 3D, I've have not used it, but have read that it also does an outstanding job..

I hope things are becoming stable for your country :)
