notification to emails on private messages?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

Just got an email from phpbbadmin@blueyonder.co.uk saying I had a private message and wanted to be notified when I received a new message (which is accurate).

Only problem is that the newest private message I have was from 2006?
I click on the link which is below which it brings me to the sing on.

Didn't find any messages? I thought for a moment it was a site to catch your password but all seems ok?
Anyone else this occur too?

Every now and then the board throws a glitch. I've noticed some strange things happening in the new applications. The board will list someone as being disabled, when in fact they have numerous posts.
