OT: Correct technique

Post by deonholt »

Hi there.

Please move this to another forum if needs to be.

I have discovered again this past weekend that I have some handshake when moving the zoom. I have a Sony Handycam and have noticed that when I use the zoom, there is some camera shake.

Where can I read about correct technique. I will really appreciate some help.

Videomaker Magazine.

Also, invest in a tripod or monopod.

Also look up how to build your own steady cam....there are a few models going around including the Ring shape with a platform in the middle going across and the Monopod with a counter balance refinement. Many of these designs don;t need expensive tools to make and with parts bought cheaply (eg PVC piping)

Actually, that is somewhere here on the forum. I think Ron even when as far as to actually build one. I'm sure he knows where that thread is.

Thanx Jeff.

Luckily I have both which I use for my SLR camera and lenses. :)

Thanx again.

Wow. I would love to see that. I'm searching right now, but will appreciate some help with the URL.
