Updates?? for true 1080p60 from Sanyo FH1

Post by rhungent »

Sanyo FH1 is the first 1080p 60 frames/sec consumer camcorder.
UK Review says that Cyberlink PowerDirector can load this file; however not compatible with VS Pro X2. Though FS can load 1080i and 1080p30.

?? Anyone know of any updates or patches I can use to get VS to recognize the 1080p60 MP4 files that this Sanyo produces.

There's only been 1 patch released back in Nov 2008. So I'm afraid that Corel has not addressed this yet..

Heck, they haven't even caught up with the Canon cameras using the new AVCHD maximum bitrate of 24 Mbps. And come to think of it, they haven't actually fully caught up with AVCHD, period!!

The 1080p60 is recorded at 24 Mbps. PowerDirector 7 loads the file; but I like the user interface and functionality of VS.
