X2 Trial Crashes when Creating Titles

I downloaded the free trial; looking at switching from Pinnacle but don't want to buy if I can't add chapters, which Studio Plus will do...

I have Vista Ultimate, 32 bit on a laptop, can't install the update as this is the 30 day trial. (the update doesn't recognize that there is a valid version of VideoStudio being installed.) I'm assuming the free download includes the update anyhow, but I don't see any way to tell.

At any rate, the software crashes when I try to create chapters.

Any other thoughts?

No, trial versions do not accept patches or updates.

As for your problem we need more info. Please read the following and supply the requested info.
