Corel VSX2 & Bootcamp Imac: digtal photos are pixelated

Post by mcewen17 »

I always have used PC to edit and have been using Videostudio since version 6. I recently bought a mac and am running Corel Video Studio X2 on bootcamp. (it took a while but I ironed out lots of bugs)

I imported avi files off my minidv camera and have lots digital photos edited into a video. Then problem is when I create an mpg or avi the digital photos are pixelated )they loo very low quality).

When I play the project on the timeline it looks fine (even if there is a little lag with the transitions) but when the mpg or avi is rendered the pictures are pixelated and low quality.

I know video studio and have loved and paid for each upgrade since v6 but I need a fix for this.

Any ideas? need more info let me know! Please I want to use corel VS on my mac,

Is the slideshow a separate video, or is it mixed up with video clips? If it is a separate project, trying rendering using Frame Based. Also, you don't tell us what properties you used more general for the rendering. Bitrate is the important one from a quality point of view. I use 8000 kbps for my standard definition ones.
