Format to use if it will be on a big screen

Hi,
Another question. My movie will be shown using a projecter displayed on a huge outdoor screen. This coulc be 14 x 14 feet. It was made to go by a community pool for the Superbowl party. People sitting all around the pool (and in it) could watch the game.

So, if I make a movie, should I take that into consideration with respect to the size, type (HD, Standard, MPEG, AVI etc)?

Or, does the projector display whatever format I make correctly?

Thanks,

Bob

It'll depend on the original source material. The better it was recorded the better it will look.
If the video was shot in HD then keeping it in HD will be best, as you will lose quality each time you change it's format.
If it awas shot in SD, then again, keep it in SD, you cannot make video better by trying to upgrade it.
Leave your projector to make it look larger.
