64-bit processor/OS and VS

Hello!

Is there any benefit from using 64-bit processor/OS with VS8 or 9? Any support planned/ benchmarks published?
AMD is available in 64-bit for quite some time, Intel released its 6xx series, XP 64-bit is available at last- I wonder if it is worth to jump onto 64-bit wagon.
Any advice?

I am going to wait until Ulead makes some use of the 64 bit architecture. However, we are already well past the limits imposed by 32 bit addressing. It won't be long...
