I recently upgraded from PSP9 to 12.5 ~ Keeping 9 and using the CD not an online upgrade~
I never had problems with 9 crashing at all, but X2 keeps crashing and its nothing in particular that I am doing when it crashes, I can be using it all day and nothing or every 10 min or half an hour it will crash~
If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it, I spend a Lot of time doing graphics~ Thanks~

Welcome to the forums,
Program crashes are one of the most difficult things to troubleshoot, especially when they are sporadic. One of the first things that I noticed is that you mention your version as 12.5. Is this the Ultimate version? Just curious as I don't have that one, and mine shows the version number to be 12.01.
Have you already installed the patch for PSP X2? I know there's not any mention in the release notes addressing any crashing issues. However it may help if you have not installed it.
I did find on Corel's Knowledge Base a problem that causes a crash. It points to MFC80.dll or Visual C++. You can read about it HERE.
You might also have a look at your settings in the Preferences, like the Temp folder settings, Auto Save, Folder locations. Try setting the Temp Folder to another location other than the default windows one.

Some other possibilities -
Try starting PSP while holding down the Shift key and clicking 'OK' when you see a window asking if you want to restore PSP to its default settings.
Another way is to double click the PSP icon and immediately hold down both the Ctrl and Alt keys. (You might find it easiest to hover your fingers over the keys as you double click, then hold down the keys straight away). Keep hold down Ctrl and Alt, and when you see a "Reset the Application" window, select all six options and click 'OK'.
A crash or freeze can be caused by a damaged Organizer database. See this Corel Knowledgebase article for instructions on deleting the current database. You will see instructions for deleting a PSPP XI database as well. Check for and delete that database even if you don't have XI installed.
If you have Norton 360 installed see this article. If this is the case, I would strongly advise changing to another (non-Symantec) security program... Norton 360 has had a succession of serious problems through three versions now.
Finally, if something has got completely damaged, the best bet would be a clean reinstall. The instructions are HERE.
