I know there were some issues with flash player 9 and a flash.ocx file that was missing after doing windows updates that affected some of the swf files in VS11/12. I did a Internet Explorer update this morning and I am having problems w the Neptune Website that I think may be Flash Player related. I was thinking of downloading Adobe Flash Player 10... I just wanted to be sure that it would work ok with VS 12 .... I don't want to start causing issues w this program too!

please let me know.

Or can I uninstall flash 9 without consequence and then download and reinstall it. Will that affect VS12 in anyway??

Please let me know....
thanks

My apologies for the delay in responding..

The flash.ocx is one method to correct the flashplayer issue. Another that I have used several times, is just reinstalling the flashplayer supplied with the specific version of VS you're having problems with.

FWIW, I have VS9, 10+, 11.5+ and 12 all installed. The SWF files all work in each version. My flashplayer has also been updated for web browsing to Flashplayer 10. So I don't anticipate any problems for you.

If installing VS12 creates a problem for VS9, doing a reinstall of VS9 should fix it, AND the flashplayer for VS12 should not be replaced by VS9's. ;)
