Error When Colsing VS11.5

Hi, Guys
Have had VS11.5 for a while and it has a strange intermittent problem when closing.
It reports an error which when you view mentions something about an AMD CPU then try to locate the text error file in the temp local which does not seem to be there.
The PC using is a Toshiba P100 laptop running an Intel T7200 4Gig of Ram with a 7900GTX card.
The program will run OK when you open again & a few times when it has frozen & crashed during an edit would not load a Ulead library will load the unfinished project and complete what ever was doing.
Corel have been as useful as a pocket in a singlet.
I did say when Corel took over watch the slide they are a bottom line type company worry about the selling and not too much on the after the money changes hands problem.
Noticed some of the older forum admins have thrown in the towel for now due to head against the wall by Corels response or caring.

Where does VS store error logs and can it be changed to another folder.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated
