Hello everyone,
New to this forum. Wish I'd thought to find it years ago, probably could've saved me a lot of trial and error.
I'm still on Ulead video studio 8. Should really upgrade but I've been putting that off untill I next upgrade my PC.
Anyway I was wondering where I might find the AC3 plugin for Ulead Video Studio 8. I can't seem to find it so any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums,
Still with VS8, well I still have it installed on my XP machine, just to provide help on the forums. I don't have the AC3 plug-in as in my opinion was way too expensive. The sad news is that you can no longer get the plug-in. In fact shortly after VS9 was released, which included support for Dolby (AC3), Ulead stopped offering it.
So I guess your options are limited to continuing to use VS8 without the plug-in, or upgrade...
Now it originally sold for about $49, (just the plug-in), you can upgrade to a whole program for that price.

In the meantime:-
There¡¦s a free AC filter from Soundforge that allows you to play Digital Dolby but not re-code.
