I have heard of that problem before. Glad you got it working again.

Chapters don't work but I know there's a fix for that which Corel don't include in the trial.

Finally I've written to Corel to find out what happens after I buy it. When I installed the trial I didn't get the option to save the download file so if I wanted to install it again in the future how do I do this. Before you say download it again, what guarantee have I that the download for the version will be available or will it lapse like tech support does when newer versions are issued all which begs the question does anyone know when the next version is expected?
X2 has only been out for about 6 months. I wouldn't expect another version for quite some time. So as long as the current version is available the trial version will be too.

and finally has anyone ever had a reply from Corel tech support?
It does happen from time to time.
