Why doesn't "preview" buin the VS Pro DVD pane do

Gee, I'm probably missing something simple right in front of my eyes ...

... can't figure it out though ...

I keep trying to click on "Preview" in the DVD set-up section of VS Pro ... but nothing happens; I have my project loaded into the track okay ...

The graphic DVD remote thing on the screen does not show any "live" controls either ...

I click "Preview" ... then there's a moment where a status bar appears to be loading something ... but then nothing happens ..

What am I missing????
