Alludo USER to USER Web Board

This is the situation that I want to tackle. I have 2 cameras filming, and I want to import the video from camera 1 to video track one and video from camera 2 to track2. First I synchronise the two video tracks. Now my final product must be scenes from both cameras, in other words switch from camera 1 to camera 2. How do you do this with VideoStudio pro x2. Can I just "highlight" the section that I want to be left out from from track 2 (camera2) and render this without loosing synchronisation?
Is it possible to cut out a section from the main video truck 1 and leave a gap there so video from track 2 is showing?

Thanks a lot. All along I never used the "scissors" This is really wonderful because now it's so easy to edit using two cameras. I nearly bought Vegas Movie Studio just for this. Again thanks Steve for the link.
