Yes, I know - try the Search function.
You try it: type in "Transition between audio tracks" and see what you get.
So please, just to save me time, please tell me where to go to learn how to transition between audio tracks with VS10.
Thank you.
Nicholas.

First just a helpful tip on using the Search on this web board. When searching for strings of text, to narrow done the results to an exact match, place the word
AND between each word. For example Transition between audio tracks, would be entered as
Transition AND between AND audio AND tracks. Without using the "AND" between your search text, the forum searches for
all instances of each word.
In the User Manual starting on
page#109 it gives you some ideas on transitioning between audio
clips, not tracks. You can use the Fade-In/Fade-Out, with each audio clip on the same track. You can also use both tracks, placing one clip on the music, the second on the Voice/Narration track. Then overlapping them the duration of the Fade-In/Fade-Out.

Note:In the Preferences (F6) you can set the default Fade-In/Fade-Out duration.
You can also manually set the Fades, using the
Volume Rubber-banding, which is described in the User Guide..

Or, you could upgrade to X2 which has a nice feature where you can join to audio clips on the same track and it automatically transitions them.
