CLEAN UNINSTALL- fresh install

Hi!
I KNOW this topic has been posted somewhere (probably multiple times) I remember seeing it a year or 2 ago, but I cannot for the life of me find it. I must be using the wrong search terms, so I apologize in advance, but if someone would be willing to point me to it, that would be MUCH appreciated! I'm having some trouble with Video Studio 10 crashing and not working properly. I tried reinstalling it, but I noticed when it's reinstalled my library is still in tact which means it must not have wiped it out completely in the first place, but I cannot remember what else I need to do. I want to completely erase any trace of the program so I can install it CLEAN. I'm thinking of reinstalling the whole operating system (this was the last time it worked perfectly) but this would be a PAIN and I want to only do so as a last resort. Can someone please point me to the thread that explains this in detail? Thanks!
Dann

I actually couldn't find it here either, but I knew it was in the Corel Knowledgebase. So now I made a Sticky in the General Information forum pointing to the Knowledgebase info.

Hi Dann

When Vs 10 crashes does it show any warning or info windows.
If no then there is an ongoing thread, probably worth a read.

Hi Trevor,
Thanks for the link to that thread. I'm going to have to keep an eye on it. I reinstalled clean just like the instructions said, but I'm STILL having problems. The glitches I was experiencing have been fixed, but Video Studio crashes EVERY TIME I render a file- does not matter if it's MPEG, DV, AVI etc... it always crashes about 5 minutes into the video. If I don't figure out something soon, I'm going to go ahead and reinstall my OS (XP)
I'll keep watching the thread. Thanks again!
