Downloaded the windvd trial.
Try and start it and it says: "to get optimum performance please LOWER your resolution to....." then it closes.
What the heck is this??? I have a wide screen monitor (1900x1200) and I'm supposed to lower my resolution? I bought this monitor for video editing and playback of hi def/Blu Ray content. Why the heck should I spend all this money on a nice monitor only to have to LOWER the resolution?
Power dvd doesn't say this to me. Please tell me that this is only because of the trial and I'll be able to play at full resolution on the full version!?!?!
What the heck???

Thanks.
Couldn't be drivers though, they're all up to date. I have a dual monitor system and I would TRY to move windvd to the smaller monitor but it won't even let me do that before it closes. I have NO interest in dropping the resolution because I use it for hi def video editing to Blu Ray.
Well... back to Power dvd I guess.
