Corel finally released a Blu-Ray compatibility update for WinDVD9 on Mar 16 2009
Better late than never ...... I hope Wall-E will play now
New WinDVD patch 9.0B014.132-74098.DVD9.Plus.BD.from.9.0B014

Wall-E plays now !!!
Thank you Corel
Credit where it is due, with the update:
9.0B014.132-74098.DVD9.Plus.BD.from.9.0B014.48.UP.iUpgrade
Wall-E plays perfectly on my system ..... all it needed was a patch
Actually it now plays it even better than Arcsoft TMT which has a few little glitches, and subjectively WinDVD looks a little better than Ardsoft too on my system ( not much difference though )
BUT it took 5 months which is a little excessive

Is there "Release notes" anywhere? I would like to know what has been fixed / changed in this latest build.
For instance in Audio / Video Setup I discovered a new checkbox "(Digital out) output primary audio only" - any ideas what is its purpose??
All reliable companies do publish "release notes" for updates so why Corel cannot???
