Extend the last frame?

Post by bigk@kentmcpherson.com »

How can I extend the last frame of a 3D animation? I want the animation to go through its normal motion and then hold the last frame for whatever number of frames I specify. If I just extend the total number of frames, 3D spreads the animation out over all the frames. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked all over and can find any button to extend/pad the last frame. Can you point me to that again?

You can also use the Project/Modifiy Frames/Pad Frames menu item to do this. Note that this info is for Cool 3D production Studio only. If you are using Cool 3D 3.5 or below, I don't believe that the capability exists.

Hope that helps.

I am using just Cool 3D - not the production version. So does anyone know if it is possible to do this with just plain Cool 3D?

Check out the product comparisons here:

http://www.ulead.com/c3ds/compare.htm

Pad/Remove frames from the timeline is listed as a capability under Production Studio but not under Cool 3D versions 3.5 or 3.0.

Hope that helps.
