Replacement for old samples

I started using VideoStudio at version 7 and it came with some sample videos, Old Coundown.avi (which is old style film leader) and V11.mpg (which is a zoom-out+panning+rotating panning planet with a sun).
Just as way to learn about VS7 I created a leader to introduce videos with titles added, music tracks etc. But it sort became a habbit and now it's like a signature that everyone recognises and expects.
The problem is that the clips (the AVI is 720x480 and the MPEG - type 1 is 352x288 4:3) don't look that great in a HD environment. They were never seen again after VS7 but now I really need something that is not so out of place in HD videos.
Does anyone know if there were ever higher definition versions of these clips produced or has anyone ever seen the source projects for them?
Or if you have seen these clips, can anyone suggest some alternatives?
