Alludo USER to USER Web Board

Hi , I recently bought EasyCAP Video Adapter with Audio and it uses Ulead Video Studio 10 se.
While I prepare to capture from the Video I only see black and white picture, no colour. Quality is good. I am using PAL B as I am in New Zealand. I have used another make of capture device and it works fine. Its not the PC as I tried it also on another different spec Pc. I tried several options but no joy. Also as a side issue no sound. I am running it on a Windows Xp SP3, RAM 2gb, free disk space 150gb, XFX Nvidia 8600 GTS 500MG video adapter, Asus Mother board P5K-E/wifi-ap, Quad core intel Q6600 cpu.
Any ideas.

Is everything else in PAL
if you try to view NTSC on PAL equipment or Vice Versa then you only get black and white.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have double checked the all options are PAL and then I re-installed again and checked it is PAL but still no colour. Could it be a faulty component.

I wonder; if the sound is not working could it effect the picture. I know the old games could play up when the sound was not quite right.
