Color Correction Not Applying On DVD

I have a series of HD video clips, and I have applied contrast and White Balance to the clips. When I burn the project to a DVD (create disc), the color correction is not applied.

However, if I use MPEG Optimizer and create a large video file, the color correction is applied, so what I have been doing is creating new projects with the single large file, re-inserting the chapter points, and recreating the DVD menus to make a DVD.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomena?

Welcome to the forums,

What flavor of HD clips? Right-click on one of them in the Timeline or Library, select properties and post them back here..

Never seen this, however I don't work with HD videos. The only thing that comes to mind is if you have selected Do not Convert compliant MPEG files, VS may not be recoding, so it is not applying any filters. You could try unchecking that option in the Project Settings for the burn module and see if VS applies the filters.

Using the MPEG Optimizer tells me that you're creating a video file (Share>Create Video File) first, whereas previously you're jumping into the burn module (Share>Create Disc), using a project file. This may be the workflow needed to get VS to apply the filters and color corrections.
