I took out two transitions and a still image as well as all the chapter markers (there was one where it was freezing) and then tried again to Create File. It worked! So I'm not positive what was causing the error, but in any case, I know have a working DVD! Thank you all for your assistance!

My advice then would be to add each one back one at a time until you find the culprit. My bet would be one of the transitions, especially if it was a "fancy" one.

I had just told it to randomly put transitions in between all the clips, so I did not even take notice of what kind the ones I deleted were, but I will go back to an older version to try to figure it out. Thanks again!
Have you updated your DirectX

A bit late to the party on this one, but do make sure that you have loaded the latest DirectX update - see the sticky at the top of the forum for details. DirectX is not updated by Windows' Automatic Updates, and when you perform the update, your DirectX version number will not even change, but it can resolve a whole host of problems.
