Clean Installation - VS11 Plus

Post by oka »

Video Studio has updates in chronological order.
How should I have a CLEAN re-installaion of VS11 Plus on my PC. First I will need to remove the one on the machine now. Then what next?

According to the update (2007/12/5), VS needs to be manually removed. Should that not remove all the 54MB of update (2007/11/08), just to install a 1.94MB file before installing from the original disk?

1. Install VS11.0+
2. Install the Update pack. This is a patch/fix.
3. Install the Power Pack to upgrade your version to 11.5+

Unless you had the specific problem with AVControl SDK while installing VS, you do not install the Hot Fix.

Oh, that's simple and logical enough. Thanks.
