Muting several clips?

Post by madkitty »

Apologies if this is simple but I seem to have looked everwhere for the answer - is there anyway to mute several clips all at once? I have about 100 on my timeline and dont really want to have to do them individually. I have tried selecting them all but this wont seem to work under the audio tab. Im runnin version 10. Thanks

It would be great if VS had the option of muting a track, however it does not. So a workaround would be to:
1. Save your current project.
2. Select File>New Project.
3. Insert Video File, then select your saved Project File. VS will insert it as one continuous video clip.
4. Now you can mute the audio for that video clip.
