Smart proxy customization options

Post by behrens »

Hi,

I use Video studio Pro X2 for editing AVCHD video. Because of the bad performance on this video format, i use the smart proxy function.

I need some more customization options on the smart proxy. I would like to be able to choose when the smart proxy files should be used.

When playing a clip from the storyboard or timeline in clip mode i would like to use the proxy files. It would be great if this was a user setting.

This can already be done. In the Preferences dialog, on the Smart Proxy tab, select the frame size from the Create proxy when video size is above drop down menu. There are other options available such as the templates provided, Auto Generate Proxy Template, and being able to create a template..

We could move it to another forum however since the Wish-list is not a separate forum, we can not paste it to an existing thread. This version of PHPBB does not allow combining threads...:(

Just re-post it in the Wish-list thread..;)

Thank you. I did not notice the more advanced features.

I have re-posted my suggestion :-)
