I am new to PSPP X2.
Used freehand selection to copy an object and pasted successfully as a new layer to another image in PSP environment (only the object is showing).
When tried to paste the same to another application such as Epson Print CD, a retangular frame with white background showing as well. What did I do wrong?
Thank you.

Does Espon Print CD import transparency from images like GIF or PNG? If so you can just paste your selection as a new image and save it to a PNG with transparency turned on.
**File menu -> Export -> PNG Optimizer. Under the transparency tab select Single Color Transparency and use the current layer transparency. Then save **
Then import the image into your program and that should do well.
