I am running 11.5 plus on an AMD 9840 Quad Core. When it renders video, I noticed that it is only using 1 core when rendering to DVD video (non HD). Does this change on the X2 Pro version for DVD video rendering? In other words, is there an decent advantage speed wise for me to upgrade if I am rendering to DVD (non hd)?
Thanks

Good news!
I downloaded the X2 Pro trial edition. I was able to render a mpeg to mpeg with 3 filters using all 4 cores on a quad core amd. It pretty much pegged the processors, but machine was still pretty responsive. Also good news, the end result render was twice as fast plus. I am very happy. I was also able to burn the result to DVD after generating the DVD files... less than 14 minutes for a 1/2 hour video to dvd final write.
I am sold. I bought the upgrade.
