Can anyone point me to free video clips?

Post by screwball2 »

Hi again,
Years ago I spent many, many hours walking in all weathers and seasons taking thousands of photographs in slide format. Then using piggy-back projectors, created fade in-fade-out slide shows to music. Now, with the aid of UVS and google images I can create far superior shows/dvd's (see 2 that I made in Youtube, search for kevinjaq). These are purely for creativity and expression not for profit (of course). What I want to do now, is to put to music moving images i.e. short video clips, made by others that are free to use as I simply do not have the equipment, actors etc to create well. I have this burning desire to make '1 song-long' videos that are beautiful, happy, sometimes sad, but always thought provoking. Anyway is there anywhere that one can download short videos on many and varied topics that I can then edit down using UVS? All I can find are X rated!! Not what I want my wife and children to view. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Have you Googled? I'm sure you'll find plenty. You can also look in our Free Stuff.

All video from the U.S. military and NASA is free. Other countries may have similar deals.
