Unable to download files

When I try to selct the folder I want to download my AVCHD files, it is greyed out. How can I change this?

I am assuming you want to download the files direct from an AVCHD camera... If that is so, just use Windows [My] Computer or Windows Explorer to transfer the files directly from your camera to the designated folder, just like you would transfer any other files. Then you should be able to open Video Studio and navigate the that folder and 'import' (really only 'insert') the files that way.
