Hey George!
In a previous topic, I asked you about the "do not convert compliant file" option in DVD WS 1.0, and whether it was available in version 2 -- you said:
Regarding the "Do not convert...", it has a better way of handling that. You can tell it at the video and/or audio level (each separately).
Now that I have it installed on my system, would you tell me how to FIND that? I don't see any settings anywhere for "compliant" files. I must be as dumb as a box of rocks.
How not not convert "compliant" file
EDIT step...
In the EDIT step, there is a VIDEO and AUDIO tab (on the left near the top). Selecting the tab should show you the "Convert to disc template" option (there's one under the Video, and one under the Audio tab -- so you can handle them separately.

This problem has been a big one because it is not intuitive. I admit that, when I was beta-testing WS, it took me a wee while to catch on to it. It isn't over-clear in the manual, either.

You are correct! But thanks to you guys, I've got it figured out. After playing around with Express for an hour or so, I must say that I rather like it. Definitely worth the $99 upgrade price. And yes, I can hear AC-3 audio, unlike the trial version. Plus I have a choice of burn speeds, so I am like a pig in slop.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
