Resize batch file in x2

Post by tachy »

I know I should probably ask corel this, but I sent them an email with this question and their answer was that I should call technical support with my quesiton. (actually I sent several tech support emails, and that was the same response I got on all of them)

But I was just wondering why there are no resize options on their batch file page?

I have used several graphics programs before, including the free program irfanview, and it seems like the most common batchfile operation I do is resize a few photos for email, etc.

I found a workaround by creating a script, but first this is definitely not as easy, and second, it seems you have to create a script with a particular size in mind. If you shut off silent mode, I found I can vary the size, but it then prompts me on every batch file and becomes quite tedious. I guess I will probably continue to use irfanview for batch resizing.

I guess it is just something that will remain on my wish list for the next version.

It's a shame, and ridiculous resizing is not included with batch processing. I also use IrfanView for batch processing. ;)

well, perhaps if enough of us suggest it, they will add it to the next version

Since you mentioned that, I checked and found out we had not yet established a wish-list for PSP. So be the first to submit to the PSP Pro Wish-list thread.
