Creating a collage in PSP

Hi,
I have a main image and would like to place a number of smaller images around it to create a collage, but pasting doesn't seem to work. What's the best way to accomplish this?

Pasting. That's essentially the only real good way to make a collage. Pasting as a new layer.

In what way is pasting not working? Are the images being pasted too small? Too large? Or what is going on?

I am getting an alert that it will require a large number of resources to move the image once I do paste it.

Based on your response, I will make the main image smaller and then try pasting the others again and see what happens. If I still can't do it, I'll come back to you.
