hI ALL,
New to Corel - so please bear with me.
I have had unhappy experiences getting things running and the guys at Corel say I might have a corrupt file

and they suggest I should remove Corel VS12 and do a "clean" install.
However, they suggest I download and run the "Windows Cleanup Utility" but reading the blurb it says it could also render other apps NBG

.
Also the instructions to do a clean up are not that clear -
has anybody got any info they would like to share with a beginner
Many thanks in advance

Generally, a "clean" uninstall simply means completely un-installing the program and starting over, rather than re-installing "on top of" the existing program. (I've never used the "Windows Cleanup Utility".)
But, maybe you should tell us what problems you are having, because AFAIK, a re-install rarely fixes anything!
Tell us what you're trying to do, what problems you're having, what file format you are using, and where your video files came from... A lot of strange problems caused by "problem" video files. (See the
READ THIS FIRST... post for the kinds of things we need to know.)

As DVD Doug says uninstall normally.
Reboot
Get a cleaner software. ccleaner is a free ware. Install & run.
This cleans junk and corrects registry errors.
Re-install VS12
