hi all simple question really.
how do i put a text based intro and then have my video play
i cant seem to get it too work
i cann make the intro but not move video clip to where i want it too start it always goes to the start.

Welcome to the forums,

This is simple enough, and quite often not clear in any of Corel's User Guides or Help files....

You'll notice that one of the Libraries you have in VS, is labeled Color. These are color mattes or clips, and behave the same as an image. Drag your preferred color to the Main Video track timeline. There are several ways to change the duration, for this example just grab the yellow handle on the right side and drag it to however long you need it to be. Now you can place text, other video clips, images, decorations, SWF animations over this. Now drop your video clip in, or if you already have a clip on the timeline, it should move to the right to accommodate it.

Clips placed in the Main video track, automatically slide to the left, so there are no spaces, or voids. Having spaces in the main video track can prevent your project from being properly rendered. Spaces are not important in any of the overlay tracks.

This is the intro I use for all my dvd intros..it is my take on the you wouldnt steal a car..watch the whole thing...
