I've an existing project and video files on a laptop which is out of disk space so i want to move the whole thing onto an external hard disk - anybody know how to do this easily ?

Thanks,

Jim

Under File menu, use Smart Package. It packages all the files used in your project, under one folder, so that you can move it to another location.

Edit: Nevermind, I was creating this note while Ron's answer was being posted.

VS12 has a "Smart Package" function which I think bundles the project and associated audio/video files for transporting to another computer. I haven't used the function, so don't know how well it works.

To access it: File/Smart Package.

Thanks folks - sounds really useful - I'll have a look - should be good as long as it doesn't need much temp/scratch space on the original disk.
