All HF100 AVCHD output is corrupted by VSX2

Any HF100 footage that has been cut and rearranged/edited using VSX2 and then smart-rendered into an AVCHD file contains stutters both before and after all cuts. These stutters occur regardless of whether any transitions are inserted between scenes. These stutters are difficult to notice unless you cut during significant camera movement (eg. during a pan, or with a lot of movement on camera within a stable shot), but they always happen. This issue has been experienced by other users, so I'm fairly certain it's not a problem with my specific hardware or workflow. Also, I am able to edit HF100 footage with other software, and the output does not contain these stutters. I think Corel should devote resources to fixing this bug since the Canon HF100 is such a popular camcorder.

Thanks for posting this in the Wishlist forum. However reposting in various places is not going to gain anything more. There is the existing thread (the one you provided the link to) where this is being discussed. So to avoid duplication, and confusion I'm locking this one...
