All Ulead software I use (MSP8, COOL3D and MovieF5) is in English version. I like to do a project for which I need VideoPaint and CGInfinty. After installion of a seperate English version of VideoGraphic 1.0 (only Vpaint and CG) VideoPaint appears in the German language and CGInfinty shows the production library only, also in the German language.
In order to solve this I installed MSP7 and the outcome is a working English version of VideoPaint indeed, but CGInfinity is as incomplete as in the first approach.
I don¡¦t understand how an English version of VideoGraphic 1.0 can switch to a German version and why CGInfinity is incomplete in both situations.
Can I have MSP8 and MSP7 together on my computer? Hope anyone can give me a suggestion on how to manage this problem.

This is very strange installer behavior. First I'm not sure how, when installing it can change the language on it's own. Most all programs I've installed, especially Ulead's prompt you to select the language, you want to use. It may be that you inadvertently selected German while installing one.
I would suggest doing a complete, clean uninstalling of those that are installed using German. Make sure that there are no traces of those left on the machine before reinstalling them. Then when you reinstall pay close attention, and ensure that you select English for the language to be used.
Yes you can have both MSP7 and MSP8 installed. Each version is a complete stand-alone program. I no longer have both installed, however did for period of time after purchasing MSP8.
Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products

Ron, this is really strange indeed, especially because there is no posibility in VideoGraphics to select a language. When I purchased I had to specify which language I wanted and my laptop proved I got the right one. But I had the same idea on a German influence from other software. I use also Vasco da Gama which could have been an influence from the character of that software. It originates from Germany, but I use the English version. So I uninstalled that already, even cleaned the register and reinstalled VideoGraphic. No improvement. After reinstallation of Vasco da Gama I installed MSP7 and the language of Vpaint was English, so that has been solved. But why Vpaint functions properly but CGInfinity only shows the production library...... I can¡¦t really understand.
I¡¦m glad to read that MSP7 and MSP8 can be on the machine together, so VideoPaint can be used, but CGI remains the problem. Thanks for your prompt reaction
