I lost my D drive with all of my pictures on it. Is there someway to get at the thumbnail pictures in the album files?

If the original images are gone, clicking on the Thumbnail will give you an error.

If you were lucky enough to choose the largest Thumbnail size 112 x 112 when creating your Album you can always select a Thumbnail and use the Ulead Screen capture to get a small working image. You don't get much quality when you resize, but at least you may have something to work with.

On the other side, there are several Graphic filters that can take small images and enlarge them, some are capable of enlarging upto 235 percent, they are very expensive, find them on the Web.

Always BackUp your original images to CD or DVD, your Album files too.

At my advanced age, and cluttered disorganized mind it sometimes takes me awhile to remember things.

The Kneson Algorithm is a vector based software package that will increase the resolution of an image between 200 to 300 percent; the Enhanced version of the software.

The Unlimited version will convert the image to a vector graphic, like a fractal, which means the image can be resized to an unlimited resolution. This is the only software, at present that can achieve unlimited resolution, even Photoshop can not compare.

A couple of years ago the software used to be Thousands of Dollars, not any more, check this Site out:
