Camcorder JVC GZ-HD6 can record video in MPEG-2-TS format with full HD (1920 x 1080) to its internal 120GB HDD.
(1) Could anyone please help advise which version(s) of VS will support MPEG-2-TS with full HD (1920 x 1080) video?
(2) If there is a VS version that would support MPEG-2-TS video format, then would it have the similar and current editing problems with AVCHD video format?
(3) What is the difference between MPEG-2-TS and MPEG-2 video format?
Thanks in advance for your assistance as I'm thinking of purchasing GZ-HD6. Currently I'm quite hesitant with the AVCHD format.
Which VS version(s) support MPEG-2-TS video format?

I have two High Def camcorders:
JVC GZ-HD7 - MPEG-2 TS (Can record 1920x1080 and 1440x1080)
CANON HG10 - AVCHD MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (1440x1080)
I can import and edit either format easily in VideoStudio 11.5plus.
I can also mix them in the timeline, and create a video file in the format of my choice. I'm using a Quad core 6600 processor.
