24 bit Wav Audio Processing in Video Studio 12

Hello,

has anyone experience in handling 24 bit .wav files in VS 12. The product description offers this feature.

Nevertheless, when importing a 24 bit .wav file it is not playing correctly (only noise) in the Project Mode, in contrast to the Clip Mode where it can be played without any problems.

The rendered video file is also not playing correctly.

What I can see in the VS12 Editor is that the .gsp-file which VS 12 generates during import to show the wav envelope maybe not correct, because the wav-graphics in the Audio Track reflects the noise but not the audio file (which has a different envelope in WaveLab)
