Revert option?

Post by prazim »

At times I am working on an image and want to go back either to the basic image I started with, or a particular spot it its transformation. How do I do that?
Thanks,
Sue

See my reply in your like post here: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?t=34579..

You can also make periodic saves while working on images, using chronological naming. For example your working on image1.jpg, and after 10 minutes you would select Save-As and give it the name, image1a.jpg. and so on....

I can't remember which one did it but I know in PSPPX2 there is a auto-preserve originals option. This saves a copy of the original image. The revert or whatever it's called reloads this image and destroys all edits.

You can use the undo command to move back each transformation one by one.

Or you can open up your history palette and gain more control to under/redo large numbers of commands that way. I haven't gone through the exact processes for the history palette but it seems pretty straightforward.

To bring up the history palette you can either on the main toolbar select the palettes button and select History from there. It think the default key is F3. Or you can go to the View menu option, go to palettes, and select history palette from there.
