At times I am working on an image and want to go back either to the basic image i started with, or a particular spot it its transformation. How do I do that?
Thanks,

I always create a duplicate of the image, and work on the duplicate. Press [Shift] + D to create a duplicate. Also with Corel PSP Photo X2 there is a feature called Auto Preserve Originals. I think it is on by default. If not then go to File>Preferences>Auto-Preserve, place a check in the box beside Enable Auto-Preserve.
You can also Enable the Undo system, and customize how much Mbytes of storage per open image, the amount of unde/redo steps, Fast Redo, and the amount of non-undoable steps in the history palette.
Finally going to File>Preferences>Auto Save Settings, you can Enable autosave, and the frequency you want it to auto save your work.
