videostudio pro DVD Authorising Wizard problems

I used Ulead videostudio ang Mediasudio for years but my new computer runs on Vista and they are not Vista compatable. Got Corel videostudio pro new on the Vista pc running well but the DVD Authorising Wizard dont work ok.

The add chapters dont work the screen on its keeps blank dont play the video to make chapters and the menu dont work completely. The dvd burn side is ok. Can anybody helps me? Tried everything! Thought its a directx problem but the main edit side works. Vista uses directx 10.

Welcome to the forums,

Even though your PC is a newer one, and that it runs DirectX 10, and you may think it is current, AND have not manually updated it I would suspect that to be the problem. Go HERE and download the latest MS Direct-X drivers. The most current is dated November 2008. If you read through the system requirements on the above page, you'll find that it is also meant for the various Vista versions.

Thanks for the advice. I installed the new direcx and the dvd authoring wizard making chapters works fine now!!! Thanks a lot !!!!!!
