I have photo explore 8.5 and I have been play round with making slideshows. I found out that you could change the background of the slideshow. But can you have no back ground at all. I see that the program resizes the picture to fit into the background. If you have the video output set at 720 x 480 the program resizes the picture so you have to lines of background on the sides of the picture. The pictures get squished side ways. All I want are the picture.

Unfortunately there is no provision in Photo Explorer for no background. It uses a solid color or texture. If you're wanting more control creating slideshows you might entertain getting a program tailored for that. PE is more of a cataloging, management program, that has extras like making slideshows.
I've noticed on your website that you have videos. What video editing program(s) do you have? Using Corel's VideoStudio does a good job with this as well. You have much more control over constructing your slideshow videos. There's other, competitors that even do better..

Thanks for the info. I use Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0 VE for my video. I was hoping to lose the back gound in the slideshows because I all ready made 6 of them and did not want to redo them. But I will do what I must.
Thanks again.
I hope you enjoyed the website.
