Question about making a DVD?

Post by jblank37 »

I have not posted here in well over a year, but fellows, I have a question. After recently purchasing VS Pro X2 and having great success with it in making a DVD, I am now ready to start a new project. From the previous project, I now have on my hard drive, the following folders:

1. VS DV Capture
2. VS Preview Files
3. AVI
4. MPEG
5. DVD

I want to be able to go back at some time WITHOUT doing any editing and maybe make another DVD. I would like to free up any unneeded space on my harddrive. I do believe that the DVD is made from the DVD folder, that is No.5
The question is, can I delete the folders 1 thru 4, or do I need to keep these also? Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Friends, John

VideoStudio X2 has an option under the "File" Menu to smart package.
This will gather all of your material together into one place - including the project file, videos, slides and audio files.

You can then archive that one new single "Smart Package" folder and discard any other items.
