At 99% preparing output. It's at the Video/Multiplexing stage. 65%.

This is with no menus.

What type of menu did you initially try? (SmartScene, Text, etc.). Did you add any effects to the menu? (Fade in/out, etc.) Any audio in the menu? These would be the things I would eliminate until you find the culprit.

I have four different menus.

Each menu has a background photo and just text. That's it. Nothing else. No audio. I have your usual buttons like play, back, etc. I used a menu template that I created and went on from there.

When I rendered it again with just the template I made(meaning no pictures no edit to text, nothing), the rendering works.

But once I start modifying the text (Quarterfinal 1, Quarterfinal 2, etc), then add a background picture (a digital camera picture), I always get an unspecified error.

When I render the same exact thing on DVD (meaning an identical menu with identical pictures and layout), I get no errors and it works fine.

Hmm. I found some information.

So the original project with proper menus is 16.80(18.04) GB.

They contain six separate projects. Each project has been loaded individually without errors. I'm rendering it again. Will post updates.

I just got the unspecified error again after 4 hours of rendering.

Only this time on the bottom, the project size went to 12.50(13.42) GB.

The vstudio.dat process in the task manager is at 1.25GB of RAM usage. I don't know why because the program is currently not rendering anything.

When I hit back on the project, the menu home page is now completely blank. All the text that I typed in for chapters do not show up.

All five menus are selectable, but nothing is shown. No pictures, no nothing.

Hmm...this is interesting now. When I clicked on the menu, it says that no background image is there. But I know I put one there. And now when I try to add it back it, it says that Videostudio cannot add the image.

WTF is going on.

And now after trying to click on the menu for changes, to test, the programs freezes, then closes automatically. I'm fresh out of ideas to encode to Blu-ray.

After some thorough testing, I've come to one menu.

I have six total menus. I started rendering each one without backgroun pics and then gradually changed from there.

So. First I rendered with no background pics. Just text menus. Worked fine. Then added a pic on menu #1, worked fine. Then continued with 2, 3, 4, and then 6.

I then rendered it all with background pics BUT #5. Rendered without pic on #5, worked. Then added back in the pic, DIDN'T work. Unspecified error.

So I've narrowed it down to #5. I'll have to check that project to see if there are video issues or missing spots.

I'll update. I swear all of these problems just to encode in Blu-ray.
