Hi
I'm new here. This is my first post.
I've searched the entire forum for over an hour now, so I think I shouldn't get any flack over the question"
How does one do something as simple as copy & paste anything into a post?
I've tried many different approaches & nothing seems to work. (I'm trying to post a screen shot of video properties)
Am I not holding my tongue right? or is there some magic to this simple task?
If you know the answer PLEASE PLEASE share it.
Thanks

Welcome to the forums,
First you need to upload your screenshot to a hosting service like ImageShack, or Putfile. Then you need to link to that image. For complete instructions read about the using BBCode in the following link:
http://forum.corel.com/EN/faq.php?mode=bbcode<---Link is the same as what is depicted in the photo..

Or do it the hard but much quicker way of actually typing out what the properties are!

You wasted an hour when all you had to do was look at the top of the Forum Index, and under Important Announcements you will see:

In there you will find:
How to use BB Code on this forum (Post images etc)

My mistake.
I just wasn't thinking.
I forgot that a screen shot is an image instead of simple text.
I did read that FAQ, I was just burned out & brain dead at the time.
Thanks for the replies.

Hi
This may help.
If you go to File ¡V Preferences, Tick ¡¥Show messages when inserting first video file to timeline.
Start a new project
Insert a video file to the timeline ( provided it is a compatible video file)
An information window should show prompting you to change the project settings.
Select ¡¥Details¡¦
View the right panel, this shows the video properties.
Use your mouse to select the text.
Ctrl + C to copy
Ctrl + V to paste to the forum.
Select ¡¥yes¡¦ to match the properties.
