mp4 clips generated by VS9 make other Ulead products crash

Hi have VS9 with the MP4 plugin and am happy with it. Just a little issue is bothering me: any mp4 files generated by VS9 (whether a rendered project or a trimmed mp4 clip) makes my other Ulead products crash.

I use ULead Photo Explorer 8.0 SE/MP4 and ULead DVD Movie Factory 3 SE/MP4 (both provided with my Sanyo Xacti C4 mp4 camera), and until now they never had any problem opening mp4 files.

Now, PhotoExplorer crashes (not responding) if I even try to browse a folder containing a VS9-generated .mp4 file (rendered or trimmed).

And ULead DVD Movie Factory crashes if I try to add a VS9-trimmed .mp4 clip to my project.

Any idea how to solve this? I'd like to keep using those products.
